Ole Henriksen about his ambassador role

"It is a great honor for me to have been asked to become ambassador for Gadens Børn. I am deeply impressed by the love, energy and passion, Team Gadens Børn puts in this enormously important work for children in India. It touches me deeply and I admire them all so much.

When I was younger, I saw thousands of children living in the streets in Indonesia, but full of smiles, energy and joy for life. I remember being so impressed that, even under so difficult circumstances, they could maintain this joy for life, and it inspired me always to remember to be happy and positive and appreciate life - every single day.

There is no better feeling than helping children, and that is among other things, the reason I said yes to become ambassador for Gadens Børn. Children is our future, and they all deserve love, care, education - and to feel safe in their everyday life. Only this way they can grow up as happy, loving and productive human beings.

Life is one big cooperation. A love project, which we all must stand together in. We have a responsibility to help and stand up for each other and contribute to making this world a better place for us all.

I am so pleased to take on my share of this responsibility and help Gadens Børn to create attention on these circumstances, thousands of children live under in Kolkata. Together and with very few means, we can change life considerably, for these joyous and hopeful small human beings, and I look so much forward to going to India - and help hands on.
